The Shire of Woodanilling is seeking three (3) suitably qualified and experienced persons to join our Works Team as Plant Operator/General Hands. This is a great opportunity to secure stable, full-time employment with a small and supportive local government team in the Great Southern region.
What We Offer:
- Continuing full-time position, classified at Level 4 of the Municipal Employees (Western Australia) Award 2021
- Basic hourly rate from $32.13 - $37.59 per hour
- $50.00 per week Housing Allowance
- Industry Allowance of $36.10 per week
- Superannuation of up to 17% (based on 12% guarantee contributions plus up to an additional 5% on employee contributions), with Salary Sacrifice available
- Pre-employment medical costs covered by the Shire
About the Role:
The successful applicants will have prior experience in the operation and maintenance of heavy plant and equipment associated with the construction and maintenance of roads, including loaders, backhoes, grader, tip trucks, rollers and other Council plant and equipment.
