New CEO Appointed at Shire of Woodanilling

The Shire of Woodanilling is pleased to announce the appointment of its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Mr Paul Hanlon.

After the Council completed the process to recruit, the appointment was made at a Special Meeting of Council held Tuesday 23 January 2024, Cr Dale Douglas, Shire President, said that Council were unanimous in their support of the appointment.

With a combination of local government and private sector experience in business advisory, Paul brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the Shire of Woodanilling.  Having come from the Shire of Ashburton with experience managing the Business and Economic Development function of Council, Paul is well equipped to lead our community into a thriving and sustainable future.

“We believe that Paul possesses the vision and leadership qualities needed  to guide our community towards continued growth and success,” said Cr Douglas.

Paul will officially assume the CEO role on 30 April 2024.

We wish to thank and acknowledge Mrs Bartley for her time with Woodanilling over the last 2 years. CEO Mrs Kellie Bartley takes leave and will finish on the 11 March 2024 and Council endorsed at the Special Meeting of Council on 23 January 2024, that Ms Belinda Knight will be Acting CEO commencing 12 February 2024 until Paul commences.
