Vehicle and machinery movement bans

On days when weather conditions are windy and hot, the Bushfire network may impose a vehicle and machinery ban in the district. The following options are available to find out if a ban has been imposed and review times:

  • Call the BAN HOTLINE on 9823 1056 available 24hrs, 7 days a week.
  • Contact the Shire office on 9823 1506

The ABC radio and Radio West broadcast bans on hourly basis.

The Woodanilling district is covered under the Great Southern Beaufort Area.

Daily weather conditions and forecast can be obtained by listening to ABC Radio Morning Session between 6.30 and 7.00am.
