Woodanilling offers an number of recreational activities through sporting clubs and recreational sites. The Woodanilling Recreation Precinct is located on Yairabin street and holds many facilities including Tennis Courts, Oval for Hockey and Cricket, Kids Playground, Indoor Courts for Badminton, Basket ball, Indoor Hockey and Indoor Bowls.
Other Sporting activities include the Golf Club.
Centenary Park is located on Carlton St; fenced off for child safety the park includes undercover play equipment, open grassed areas, skate park and a Gazebo with a BBQ.
Other recreational areas include Lake Queerearrup, King Rock and Martup Pools as well as various bike paths in the townsite.
