Adoption of Dogs Local Law 2008
The Shire of Woodanilling has resolved to adopt the Shire of Woodanilling Dogs Local Law 2008.
The purpose of this local law is to make provisions about the impounding of dogs, to control the number of dogs that can be kept on premises and the manner of keeping those dogs and to prescribe areas in which dogs are prohibited.
The effect of this local law is to extend the controls over dogs which exist under the Dog Act 1976.
A copy of the adopted local law may be inspected at or obtained from the Shire’s office at 3316 Robinson Rd Road Monday to Friday, and at the public library within the Shire of Woodanilling during normal opening hours.
This Local Law was gazetted on 10 December 2008 and will come into operation on 25 December 2008.
