Woodanilling Recreation Centre
Features include:
- A large pavilion with function room, commercial kitchen and well-equipped changing rooms
- Tennis courts and floodlights
- Oval floodlights
- A cricket bowling machine and two practice wickets
- A fantastic playground for the kids with sunshade roof.
Woodanilling Oval
The Woodanilling oval is fully grassed and reticulated. The oval was constructed in 2000 and remains one of Woodanilling’s greatest assets, and could not have been possible without Woodanilling’s trademark Community help including many hours of time, machinery and materials, from carting and spreading sand to hand weeding the entire oval.
Hockey and Cricket are the most common sports played on the oval; however it has been designed to suit many other sports. The oval also includes a cricket pitch and practice nets.
Woodanilling Pavilion
Our Pavilion includes spacious change rooms, club rooms with large windows to view the oval, tennis courts and the car park. The large commercial kitchen includes a commercial dishwasher, bar fridges, island benches, large ovens, heaps of cupboard room and 4 servery’s including one serving to the veranda outside of the building.
This facility is fantastic for Social events, sporting competitions, meetings and other social functions including birthdays, anniversaries and weddings.
Woodanilling Recreation Shed
The Shed was resurfaced in early 2010 to create a great playing surface for local clubs. There are lines marked out for various sports including badminton and basketball.
Tennis Courts
Located alongside the Pavilion, Woodanilling has 4 synthetic turf tennis courts. As part of the upgrade in 2009 the court fences were replaced and the two north side courts are now lit with floodlights allowing Tennis to be enjoyed all hours of the day.
